Formerly known as The Bridge at 211, we’ve re-emerged with a new name and a renewed sense of purpose. In partnership with the Olde Essex Stage Company, we are cultivating artistic excellence and bringing new life to our historic building through a diverse range of programming. Together, we envision the Salem Playhouse as a vibrant, mid-sized, multifunctional performing arts and education space.

Our building is a cornerstone of Salem’s rich history, and our commitment to its preservation is unwavering. Since becoming a nonprofit in 2016, we have remained dedicated to the arts and to fostering a welcoming space for connection, creativity, and shared experience.
